"Pasko Sa Pinas" by Yeng Constantino

4:34 AM

Nadarama ko na ang lamig ng hangin
Naririnig ko pa ang maliliit na
tinig
May dalang tansang pinagsama-sama
Ginawang tambourine
Ang mga
parol ng bawat tahana’yNagniningning
Ibang mukha ng saya
Himig ng Pasko’y
nadarama ko na
May tatalo pa ba sa pasko ng Pinas
Ang kaligayahan nati’y
walang kupas
Di alintana kung walang pera
Basta’t tayo’y
magkakasama
Ibang-ibang talaga ang pasko sa Pinas
Ang pasko sa Pinas

This song best describes why Filipino all over the world scrambles to go home to good ole Philippines for Christmas. Nothing beats being in your own country w/ your own family to celebrate this joyous occassion of the year.

Philippines have the longest christmas in the whole world as we tend to start it once the "Ber" months starts. Come September all lanterns, chrismas lights and trees are spruced up and lighted. Christmas list are made and 13th month pays are blown away for gift buying for friends and families.

But that is not the best part of being there. The best part is being w/ your own family and friends throughout the preparations, the anticipations and the get together before and after the noche buena. The smiles of the children during reunions and the story telling of of the old people.

Haaay I can't enunciate it enough why Christmas in the Philippines is the best and a must experience.

Thank goodness, Yeng, the singer and song writer of this song has aptly describe a part of what I am feeling whenever I think of Christmas.
